The whole Habitable Spaces team has been busy preparing for our Halloween Fundraiser party at Flux Factory this Saturday.
We have had an excellent response from the press and our various sponsors as well as authors Michael Novacek and Mary McKenna Siddals who have both donated copies of their most recent books to the raffle along with gifts from Sustainable NYC, Urban Rustic, the IFC Center, IZZE, Lagunitas Brewery, Vegetarian Times, Brooklyn Farmacy, the Heritage Playing Card Company and Brooklyn Brewery.
In addition to the excellent bands (Fake Hooker/White Limo) and DJs (UltraV/Omega from Otto’s Shrunken Head and DannyC/MattyB), we have a zombie pinata, tacos, cocktails and a tonne of Brooklyn Beers at $3 each.
It’s going to be a big, fun and probably quite messy party in the heart of Long Island City – subway stations are plentiful at Queens Plaza E/M/R, Queensboro Plaza (Q/N/7) and Queensbridge (F) – We hope to see you there!
